Big Dream

“... he really did believe it and he was more than sure he will accomplish it!” I said to my friend Tim.

However, Tim looked confused, “You really started in the middle of the story, could you please start from the beginning?” asked Tim standing his bedroom.

I wasn’t surprised that you didn’t listen to me Tim. This thought rushed through my mind, every time like a spark it ignited and then faded away. Let's get back to the story I was telling.

This story is about a man, a man who dreamed about becoming very successful in his life. He had this big dream from a very young age, he desired to be on the top of the pedestal always achieving what he wants. Interestingly he was not alone on this journey; he had a best friend who was very close to him. Together they had this big dream of becoming the richest people on Earth. They worked very hard to accomplish their goal; every day and night they kept working and working. Their motivation came from their feeling of success, their thirst for the emotional satisfaction of it; that was their utopia. After they graduated from high school with perfect marks they got accepted into the best college in the world. This man with his best friend got accepted into Jarvard. They were one step closer to fulfilling their big dream. Four years later, after insanely hard work and humongous effort, they have graduated from college with all perfect marks and with gold academic medals. Devoted to their big dream, striving for perfection they have come so close to achieving their goal yet they were still far away. The next step to achieve their big dream was to find  the most prestigious and elite job, so they went to work for Pineapple. They worked without any rest for many years, but they still were not quite the richest people in the world so their big dream was not fulfilled. Until one day they had to make a decision, to either stay at Pineapple or go work with Vindows. This man who had this big dream chose to switch to Vindows, however, his best friend warned him not to do so. His best friend was telling him that Vindows will be bankrupt soon and he will fail to let his dreams become the reality. This man switched to Vindows but his best friend stayed with Pineapple to accomplish his big dream.

Eventually Vindows fell apart and left this man broke without any money, only if he would have listened to his best friend and stayed with Pineapple. I guess some things never change, you never listen to me Tim, you never do.

“Honestly, I find it weird that you are telling me this story, because this is a story about my life and I already know it” said Tim.

However, Tim realized that he was just looking in the mirror talking to himself this entire time.
